Prep

Got the bike packed up for the Summer Cycle Trip which, for me begins early next Thursday. I know, I know early to be getting packed, but I just couldn't wait. I love that time packing up for a trip, getting everything loaded on etc. Something primitive is stirred...! Decided on 4 more evenly spaced panniers this year rather than two rammed ones at the back. Feels good on a quick ride around the block - we'll see how wonderful it feels after 230 miles!

Here is an outline of the route:

Day a - Otley to Kendal 59.6 miles

Day 1 (Meet the others) - Kendal to Ousby 42.29 miles



Day 2 - Ousby to Melkridge 42.29 miles



Day 3 - Melkridge to Harbottle 31.14 miles



Day 4 - Harbottle to Berwick upon Tweed 55.89 miles
